The PerfectBond ODS-HD HPLC column 100x8.0mm, 5µm, is a standard octadecylsilyl-modified HPLC column (also known as: ODS, RP-18, C18) that can be used in reverse-phase chromatography. The PerfectBond ODS-HD is a base-deactivated HPLC column and is therefore ideally suited for eluting basic compounds with good peak shapes. The pore size of 150 Å also allows for the separation of larger analytes, and the interactions are hydrophobic in nature. In addition to the analysis of basic compounds, the PerfectBond ODS-HD can also be used for standard applications such as pharmaceutical or food analysis.
The PerfectBond series is based on high-purity, spherical Type B silica gel and thus meets the requirements of modern separations. Thanks to the comparable selectivity and retention of the PerfectBond series, many traditional materials—some of which consist of irregular particles—can be replaced with modern, more efficient HPLC columns. This allows methods to be modernized with minimal effort. Using appropriate precolumn cartridges can extend the service life.
