Elufix

Elufix™ glass columns from LCTech are specially developed glass cartridges for sample preparation in the determination of mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOH). These hydrocarbons are found in diesel, lubricants and heating oils, amongst other things, and can enter water and soil matrices due to their widespread industrial use. The Elufix™ columns are designed for use in established standardised methods such as the determination of the Hydrocarbon Oil Index in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9377-2:2000 (H53 method) and MKW soil analysis in accordance with DIN EN ISO 16703 and DIN EN 14039:2004. The use of inert glass and PTFE minimises interactions with the analytes and prevents contamination. Each delivery includes a batch-specific certificate, including suitability testing and performance verification in accordance with EN ISO 9377-2.

All column types are also available in specially developed packaging that reliably prevents contamination. Columns packaged in this way do not require conditioning and are additionally marked with the suffix “-P” in the item number.
