Carbowax GC columns from Supelco are based on polyethylene glycol. These polar stationary phases are available both as capillary and packed columns. The polyethylene glycol is on different carrier materials such as Chromosorb W HP or Carbopack B). The columns are ideal for analysing alcohols, free acids, ether, glycol and solvents.
