PerfectBond C8 5µm 100x3,9mm HPLC Column

The PerfectBond C8 HPLC column 100x3.9mm, 5µm, is a standard octasilyl phase (also known as OS, RP-8, C8) used in reverse-phase chromatography. The PerfectBond C8 has shorter chains than the PerfectBond C18 and thus exhibits a lower carbon loading and, consequently, weaker hydrophobic interactions. This makes it possible to specifically accelerate methods on the PerfectBond C18 while maintaining comparable selectivity. PerfectBond C8 is used in standard applications such as pharmaceutical and food analysis.

This allows methods to be modernized with minimal effort. Using appropriate precolumn cartridges can extend the service life.
