Product Description
The Orbit 100 Sil column 250x3.9mm, 5µm, is an unmodified silica phase for normal phase chromatography. The interactions are based on the adsorption of the analytes on the surface. Nonpolar solvents such as hexane are used in normal phase applications. This enables the separation of lipids in food analysis or fat-soluble vitamins.

The Orbit series is based on almost perfectly spherical particles. This allows high efficiencies to be achieved with low back pressure.
