Product Description
The PerfectSil 100 Diol HPLC column 150x3.0mm, 5µm, is a column designed for reverse-phase and normal-phase chromatography. However, it is more commonly used in normal-phase chromatography. Here, the PerfectSil 100 Diol can be used as a replacement for the PerfectSil 100 Sil. The selectivity remains comparable, but the PerfectSil Diol exhibits significantly shorter retention times. The Diol phase can be used, for example, in lipid and fat analysis, but applications that run on unmodified silica, such as fat-soluble vitamins and natural products, can also be separated.

Additional Information
