ACE 1.7 HILIC Method Development UHPLC/HPLC Column Kit 100x2.1mm (HILIC-A, HILIC-B AND HILIC-N)

The Avantor ACE HILIC Method Development Kits HPLC-/UHPLC columns 100x2.1mm, 1.7µm, contain three complementary modifications for hydrophilic interaction chromatography. The kit contains Avantor ACE HILIC-A, Avantor ACE HILIC-B and Avantor ACE HILIC-N with the same length, same ID and same particle size, so that the selectivity of the individual phases can be directly compared. The Avantor ACE HILIC Method Development Kits are used primarily for polar, very polar and ionisable analytes when sufficient retention cannot be achieved in reversed phase. Typical applications are found in pharmaceutical analysis, bioanalysis, food analysis and environmental analysis, for example for nucleobases, nucleosides, organic acids, beta blockers or other hydrophilic compounds.

In contrast to reverse-phase chromatography, retention in HILIC is typically determined by a water-rich layer on the polar stationary phase and mobile phases with a high organic content.
