IC Sep WA1 Wine Analysis Column, SS 300 mm x 7.8 mm

The ICSep WA1 HPLC column (300 × 7.8 mm, 9 µm) is a polymer-based phase for aqueous ion-exclusion methods. ICSep WA1 is suitable for the analysis of organic acids and related polar components in samples where robust separation in acidic mobile phases is required. Applications include fermentation samples, beverages, foodstuffs, biotechnological media and process controls.

Additional Information

The ICSep series is based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers. Fully sulfonated PS/DVB materials are used for ion exclusion of organic acids and alcohols. For organic and inorganic ions, functionalized, macroporous PS/DVB resins are used, for example, with quaternary ammonium groups for anion exchange or with sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups for cation exchange. The polymer backbone makes ICSep particularly suitable for aqueous, ionic matrices; appropriate pre-columns protect the main column from particles and matrix contaminants.
