Coregel 801 Fast Analysis, SS 200 mm x 7.8 mm

The ICSep ORH 801 HPLC column 200x7.8mm, 9µm, is an H+ ion-exclusion phase for organic acids, alcohols and carbohydrates. ICSep ORH 801 is suitable for complex fermentation and biofuel samples in which acids, alcohols and sugars are to be analysed within a single method window. Applications include bioethanol processes, food analysis, beverage analysis and aqueous process streams.

Additional Information

The ICSep series is based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers. Fully sulfonated PS/DVB materials are used for ion exclusion of organic acids and alcohols. For organic and inorganic ions, functionalized, macroporous PS/DVB resins are used, for example, with quaternary ammonium groups for anion exchange or with sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups for cation exchange. The polymer backbone makes ICSep particularly suitable for aqueous, ionic matrices; appropriate pre-columns protect the main column from particles and matrix contaminants.
