Coregel Semi Prep 87H Column, H Form, SS 300 mm x 21.2 mm

The ICSep Coregel 87H3 HPLC column 300x21.2mm, 9µm, utilises an H+ form of the sulphonated PS/DVB material for ion-exclusion chromatography. ICSep Coregel 87H3 is suitable for organic acids, alcohols and sugar mixtures in complex aqueous samples. Applications include, in particular, fermentation, biofuel analysis, food and beverage analysis, and the analysis of organic acids in process samples.

Additional Information

The ICSep series is based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers. Fully sulfonated PS/DVB materials are used for ion exclusion of organic acids and alcohols. For organic and inorganic ions, functionalized, macroporous PS/DVB resins are used, for example, with quaternary ammonium groups for anion exchange or with sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups for cation exchange. The polymer backbone makes ICSep particularly suitable for aqueous, ionic matrices; appropriate pre-columns protect the main column from particles and matrix contaminants.
