Unison UK-C18 3µm 5x2.0mm (ODS end-capped)

The Imtakt Unison UK-C18Guard cartridges 5x2.0mm, 3µm, are used to protect Unison UK-C18 HPLC columns. GCH01S is used as the guard column holder.

Additional Notes

Unison applies its established phase chemistries to the brand’s high-purity, fully porous silica supports. Columns designated “UK” are the 3 µm versions, while those designated “US” are the 5 µm versions of the same phase with the same surface treatment. In addition, each chemistry is available in a pressure-resistant version rated for 500 bar, a version rated for 1000 bar, and a metal-free version with a PEEK-coated fluid path, each featuring the same packing material. The brand is designed for long columns, so even with 3 µm, high separation step numbers can be achieved without an UHPLC system. When transferring methods, retention, resolution, peak shape, and system pressure must be verified, as selectivity can vary between column chemistries even within the same USP class.
