The Shodex GPC LF-804 GPC column 300x8.0mm, 6µm, contains a porous, spherical styrene-divinylbenzene gel with a nominal pore size of 3,000 Å as a multi-pore gel. With THF as the primary mobile phase, Shodex GPC LF-804 covers a typical molecular weight range determined with polystyrene standards of approx. 300 to 2,000,000 Da. The unique multi-pore structure delivers a broad linear calibration range in the standard ID format. Size separation occurs without chemical interaction via the accessible pore volume of the polymer gel. Typical applications of Shodex GPC LF-804 are broadly distributed technical polymers; the practically usable range depends on polymer structure, eluent and calibration.
The Shodex GPC product family is based on porous, spherical styrene-divinylbenzene gels. Defined single-pore, linearized multi-pore materials, and mixed gels cover a wide range of molecular weight distributions. The KF series is primarily intended for THF, while the KD series is designed for DMF and polar organic eluents. HK, LF, and HQ columns are designed for fast or highly efficient analyses. Preparative K, KF, and H formats transfer pore selectivity to higher loadings. Molecular weight ranges always depend on the polymer structure, solvent, and calibration standard.
