The Kromasil Eternity PhenylHexyl HPLC column 250x4.0mm, 5µm, combines a phenyl group with a hexyl linker on the stabilised Eternity platform. This modification provides π-π interactions and hydrophobic interactions and thus delivers an alternative selectivity to C18 phases. Kromasil Eternity PhenylHexyl is used in reversed-phase chromatography when aromatic or structurally similar analytes need to be better differentiated. Typical applications are xanthines, aromatic active substances, structural isomers, natural products, impurity profiling and method development under demanding RP-HPLC conditions.
