Product Description

The ICSep AN2 HPLC column 250x4.6mm is an anion-exchange column designed for specific inorganic anions. ICSep AN2 can be used for arsenate, sulphite, selenate, arsenite, selenite, low-molecular-weight organic acids and other anions that are difficult to separate. Applications include environmental analysis, drinking water and process water analysis, as well as specialised methods for anions of regulatory significance.

Additional Information

The ICSep series is based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers. Fully sulfonated PS/DVB materials are used for ion exclusion of organic acids and alcohols. For organic and inorganic ions, functionalized, macroporous PS/DVB resins are used, for example, with quaternary ammonium groups for anion exchange or with sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups for cation exchange. The polymer backbone makes ICSep particularly suitable for aqueous, ionic matrices; appropriate pre-columns protect the main column from particles and matrix contaminants.
