Product Description

The BIOshell IgG 1000 Å C4 HPLC/UHPLC column 30x4.6mm, 2.7µm, features a C4 modification on fused-core particles with a very large pore structure. The BIOshell IgG 1000 Å C4 is designed for intact proteins, antibodies and large protein variants. Typical applications of the BIOshell IgG 1000 Å C4 are antibody characterisation, intact mAbs, protein variants and RP bio-LC methods with milder retention than C18.

Features and Benefits

  • Fused-Core Bio-LC particles
  • Large pores for biomolecules
  • Suitable for proteins, peptides, glycans, and oligos
  • LC-MS-compatible applications
  • High efficiency in bioseparations

Additional Information

BIOshell columns use fused-core particles designed for biomolecules. Depending on the phase, larger pores are available for intact proteins and antibodies, medium-sized pores for peptides and oligonucleotides, and HILIC-like surfaces for glycans. The short diffusion path of the core-shell particles promotes narrow peaks, while the surface chemistry is optimized for typical bio-LC applications. As a result, BIOshell can be used for fast, sensitive, and MS-compatible bioanalytics.
