Product Description

The Discovery HS C18 HPLC column 150x2.1mm, 3µm, is based on an octadecyl phase (other designations: ODS, RP-18, C18) on high-purity silica. The Discovery HS C18 is a modern reversed-phase with good peak shape for basic, acidic and neutral compounds. Typical applications of the Discovery HS C18 are active pharmaceutical ingredients, impurities, environmental analytes and QC methods.

Additional Information

The Discovery Series includes various material platforms and surface chemistries. In addition to classic silica-based reverse-phase columns, high-purity HS phases, pentafluorophenyl, RP-amide, and PEG selectivities, as well as zirconia-based phases, are available. Bio-Wide-Pore variants with larger pores are designed for peptides and proteins. This makes Discovery particularly well-suited for method development when standard C18 selectivity is insufficient or more robust surfaces are required.
