The Discovery BIO Wide Pore C18 HPLC column 250x4.6mm, 5µm, is a C18 phase with a larger pore structure for biomolecules. The Discovery BIO Wide Pore C18 facilitates access of larger peptides and proteins to the surface and is used in RP bio-LC methods. Typical applications of the Discovery BIO Wide Pore C18 are peptide mapping, protein fragments, biopharmaceutical samples and LC-MS analysis.

Additional Information

The Discovery Series includes various material platforms and surface chemistries. In addition to classic silica-based reverse-phase columns, high-purity HS phases, pentafluorophenyl, RP-amide, and PEG selectivities, as well as zirconia-based phases, are available. Bio-Wide-Pore variants with larger pores are designed for peptides and proteins. This makes Discovery particularly well-suited for method development when standard C18 selectivity is insufficient or more robust surfaces are required.
