The Ascentis Express PFAS HPLC-/UHPLC column 150x2.1mm, 2.7µm, is designed for LC-MS/MS methods for PFAS analysis. The Ascentis Express PFAS utilises a C18-based selectivity optimised for per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances. The Ascentis Express PFAS is used in water, food, environmental and residue analysis, especially where robust retention and reproducible peak shapes for short-chain and long-chain PFAS are required.
Ascentis Express columns are based on fused-core or superficially porous particles. A solid core combined with a porous shell provides short diffusion paths and an efficient packing structure. As a result, high column numbers and narrow peaks can be achieved, often without reaching the backpressure associated with fully porous sub-2-µm particles. The platform includes classic reverse-phase columns, polar embedded phases, HILIC phases, and application-specific surface chemistries.
Ascentis Express is a registered trademark of the manufacturer Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.
