Product Description

The BIOshell Glycan HPLC/UHPLC column 50x2.1mm, 2.7µm, has a polar pentahydroxy-like surface for HILIC separations. The BIOshell Glycan is designed for labelled and native glycans that show little retention in RP methods. Typical applications of the BIOshell Glycan are N-glycan profiling, biopharmaceutical glycan analysis, 2-AB- or other fluorescently labelled glycans and LC-MS methods.

Features and Benefits

  • Fused-Core Bio-LC particles
  • Large pores for biomolecules
  • Suitable for proteins, peptides, glycans, and oligos
  • LC-MS-compatible applications
  • High efficiency in bioseparations

Additional Information

BIOshell columns use fused-core particles designed for biomolecules. Depending on the phase, larger pores are available for intact proteins and antibodies, medium-sized pores for peptides and oligonucleotides, and HILIC-like surfaces for glycans. The short diffusion path of the core-shell particles promotes narrow peaks, while the surface chemistry is optimized for typical bio-LC applications. As a result, BIOshell can be used for fast, sensitive, and MS-compatible bioanalytics.
