Product Description

The OtaCLEAN 3 mL immunoaffinity column is used for the selective clean-up of ochratoxin A from a wide range of food and feed. Specific antibodies bind the analyte from extracts of, for example, coffee, cereals, dried fruit, spices, beer or feed while interfering matrix components are washed away. OtaCLEAN combines high matrix tolerance and loading capacity with a long shelf life of up to 24 months. After controlled elution ochratoxin A can be determined by HPLC or LC-MS/MS. With the available matrix protocols OtaCLEAN is therefore suitable for occasional single determinations as well as for standardised routine laboratories with very different sample types.

Features and Benefits

  • Specific binding of ochratoxin A
  • High matrix and loading capacity
  • Standard and SMART formats
  • For HPLC and LC-MS/MS
  • Suitable for manual and automated use

Additional Information

OtaCLEAN is based on immobilized antibodies against ochratoxin A. During sample injection, the target analyte is selectively bound to the affinity gel, while most of the matrix passes through the column or is removed during the washing step. After elution, a concentrated, low-interference extract is available for chromatographic analysis. The standard version emphasizes high matrix tolerance, loading capacity, and long shelf life. OtaCLEAN SMART reduces solvent consumption and processing time thanks to its short bed. Storage and process conditions must be observed in accordance with the respective variant.
