Product Description

The ProSwift RP‑3U monolithic column 50x4.6mm consists of a porous polymer monolith with a universal reversed‑phase surface of medium hydrophobicity. Hydrophobic variants are separated with convective mass transport and low backpressure. The balanced RP selectivity is suitable as a versatile starting point for rapid methods. ProSwift RP‑3U is used particularly for proteins, peptides, nucleic acid constructs and process samples.

Features and Benefits

  • Continuous polymer monoliths without a particle bed
  • Convective mass transfer and low backpressure
  • RP, ion-exchange, and affinity chemistries
  • Very fast separations of large biomolecules
  • Capillary and analytical formats

Additional Information

ProSwift columns use continuous porous polymer monoliths. The open flow channels enable convective mass transfer and high flow rates at low backpressure, particularly for proteins, viruses, and nucleic acids. A variety of RP, ion-exchange, and affinity surfaces cover hydrophobic, ionic, and biospecific separations. The short column retention time requires fast, low-dispersion systems.
