De-Ashing Cartridges, 2/pk (cation/anion mix mode) PEEK 4.6mmx3.0mm

The 3x4.6mm de-ashing cartridges are used upstream of analytical carbohydrate columns to remove charged molecules and particles from the sample. De-ashing cartridges help to protect CarboSep and similar ligand-exchange columns by better preserving the original ligand form of the main column. Thanks to the mixed cation/anion resin, only one cartridge is required; replacement is quick and easy via finger-tight end caps. The AXC-99-1500 is used as the holder.

The De-Ashing line is designed as a protective and sample preparation component for carbohydrate analysis methods. Its functional core consists of a mixed-bed ion-exchange resin, not silica. This mixed bed removes ionic interferents before the sample reaches the analytical ligand-exchange column. This helps reduce changes in the form of counterions and deposits on the main column. This is particularly helpful for saline samples, fermentation matrices, food samples, and other aqueous carbohydrate samples.
