ULTRA RNASep™ Prep Colµmn 7.8mm x 50mm

The RNASep Semi-Prep Ultra High Capacity HPLC column 50x7.8mm is designed for exceptionally large RNA loads within the Semi-Prep series. RNASep Semi-Prep Ultra High Capacity employs an alkylated, non-porous PS/DVB matrix and, in the listed 30 × 150 mm configuration, offers up to 2 mg capacity. It is suitable for two-stage purifications, automated fraction collection and RNA for mRNA vaccines and other nucleic acid-based drug candidates.

Additional Notes

The RNASep series is based on alkylated, non-porous polystyrene-divinylbenzene microspheres rather than a silica matrix. Short diffusion paths promote rapid mass transfer, while the hydrophobic alkylation, in combination with ion-pair buffers, enables RNA retention. Depending on the column format, RNASep ranges from purity testing to semi-prep purification. Typical applications include the separation of DNA, truncated or misfolded RNA species, and other impurities in mRNA and IVT workflows.
