The RPSep ARo HPLC column 100x4.6mm, 5µm, is an aromatic fast-analysis reverse-phase column with octadecyl chemistry on a polymeric, non-porous substrate. RPSep ARo utilises C18 retention and additional aromatic selectivity for rapid separations. Applications include aromatic active compounds, structural isomers, small organic molecules, environmental analysis and methods where short run times need to be combined with polymeric robustness.
The RPSep series is primarily based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers and thus offers an alternative to silica-based reverse-phase columns. The polymer backbone enables high chemical robustness, broad pH stability, and a narrow particle size distribution for efficient separations. Depending on the modification, hydrophobic, aromatic, or fluorinated interactions are created. As a result, RPSep is suitable for small molecules, peptides, aromatic compounds, and LC-MS-related methods that require robust RP selectivity.
