The OligoPrep HC3 HPLC column 150x7.8mm uses alkylated, macroporous PS/DVB microspheres for preparative ion-pair reversed-phase chromatography. OligoPrep HC3 extends the high-capacity platform with a longer column bed and is designed for the purification of oligonucleotide syntheses above 1 µmol. The accessible pore structure and increased separation path allow larger sample loads and the fractionation of main product, sequence failures and synthesis by-products. Typical applications are scale-up steps following analytical method development, the purification of synthetic DNA and RNA oligonucleotides and the recovery of purified fractions for further biological or pharmaceutical investigations.
The OligoSep series is based on alkylated polystyrene-divinylbenzene and was developed for high-performance nucleic acid separations. Unlike traditional silica phases, this series features a polymeric matrix that can be used in ion-pair reverse-phase methods with TEAA or similar buffer systems. Depending on the variant, non-porous particles for high resolution or macroporous materials for higher loading capacity are available. This allows OligoSep to be used for both analytical oligonucleotide controls and smaller purification tasks.
