The RNASep Semi-Prep High Capacity HPLC column 100x21.2mm transfers the alkylated, non-porous PS/DVB technology to a larger scale. RNASep Semi-Prep High Capacity is designed for up to 600 µg total RNA and supports the transition from method development to preparative fractionation. The column can be integrated into HPLC workflows with fraction collection for mRNA and other RNA products.

Additional Notes
The RNASep series is based on alkylated, non-porous polystyrene-divinylbenzene microspheres rather than a silica matrix. Short diffusion paths promote rapid mass transfer, while the hydrophobic alkylation, in combination with ion-pair buffers, enables RNA retention. Depending on the column format, RNASep ranges from purity testing to semi-prep purification. Typical applications include the separation of DNA, truncated or misfolded RNA species, and other impurities in mRNA and IVT workflows.
