OligoSep™ HC, alkylated 5µm, porous SS 7.8mmx50mm

The OligoSep HC HPLC column 50x7.8mm, 5µm, uses an alkylated, macroporous PS/DVB matrix for ion-pair reversed-phase chromatography. OligoSep HC is designed for a higher loading capacity than the purely analytical HR variant and is therefore used for samples where capacity is important in addition to resolution. The macroporous structure allows oligonucleotides and nucleic acids to penetrate the particle structure more effectively. The OligoSep HC column is suitable for analytical-preparative methods, purity controls and small-scale purifications of synthetic oligonucleotides.

Additional Information

The OligoSep series is based on alkylated polystyrene-divinylbenzene and was developed for high-performance nucleic acid separations. Unlike traditional silica phases, this series features a polymeric matrix that can be used in ion-pair reverse-phase methods with TEAA or similar buffer systems. Depending on the variant, non-porous particles for high resolution or macroporous materials for higher loading capacity are available. This allows OligoSep to be used for both analytical oligonucleotide controls and smaller purification tasks.
