OligoSep™ Prep, alkylated 5µm, porous SS 4.6mmx50mm

The OligoSep Prep HC HPLC column 50x4.6mm, 5µm, is the more preparative-oriented version of the OligoSep series. OligoSep Prep HC uses a macroporous alkylated PS/DVB matrix and is designed for higher sample loads. The phase is used for the purification of oligonucleotides when analytical resolution and preparative usability are to be combined. Typical areas of application for the OligoSep Prep HC column are the purification of synthetic oligonucleotides, the preparation of siRNA or DNA fragments and methods in which samples are to be reused after separation.

Additional Information

The OligoSep series is based on alkylated polystyrene-divinylbenzene and was developed for high-performance nucleic acid separations. Unlike traditional silica phases, this series features a polymeric matrix that can be used in ion-pair reverse-phase methods with TEAA or similar buffer systems. Depending on the variant, non-porous particles for high resolution or macroporous materials for higher loading capacity are available. This allows OligoSep to be used for both analytical oligonucleotide controls and smaller purification tasks.
