MZ-Gel SDplus LS 500 Å 5µm 300x4,6mm SEC / GPC Columns

The MZ-Gel SDplus LS 500Å column 300x4.6mm, 5µm, is based on a highly cross-linked polystyrene-divinylbenzene (PS/DVB) material for GPC. A special post-treatment of the material results in extremely low phase bleeding. This makes the column ideal for use with light scattering detectors (LS, MALS). The linear molecular weight range is up to 20,000 g/mol. The exclusion limit is also 20,000 g/mol. Thus, the column is suitable for the analysis of small polymers such as polystyrenes and PEG.

The MZ-Gel SDplus LS series consists of a highly cross-linked polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymer designed for organic size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) or gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Thanks to a special post-treatment process, this series exhibits extremely low phase bleeding, making it ideal for light scattering detection (LS, MALS). Compatibility with many organic solvents in addition to THF, such as DMF, chloroform, and acetone, allows for the analysis of a wide variety of polymers. The service life can be extended by using appropriate pre-columns.
