Orbit 100 C8 3.5µm 150x4,6mm HPLC Column

The Orbit 100 C8 column 150x4.6mm, 3.5µm, is a reversed phase column with a standard octasilyl modification (other names: OS, RP-8, C8). The hydrophobic interactions are not as pronounced with the C8 phase as with the C18 phase. Therefore, the interaction is weaker and analytes tend to elute earlier. The selectivity is comparable to that of the C18 phase. These phases can be used, for example, in pharmaceutical analysis, environmental analysis, food analysis, or pesticide and residue analysis.
