The Avantor ACE UltraCore SuperC18 HPLC-/UHPLC column 150x4.6mm, 2.5µm, combines solid-core particles with a proprietary octadecylsilyl modification (other designations: ODS, RP-18, C18) for reversed-phase chromatography. The Avantor ACE UltraCore SuperC18 offers high efficiency, low backpressure and extended pH stability for flexible method development. The C18 selectivity is suitable for fast gradients, LC-MS-compatible conditions and robust separations of basic and neutral analytes. Typical applications include pesticides, herbicides, vitamins, biomarker profiling, pharmaceutical assays and pH screening in method development.

The Avantor ACE UltraCore series uses spherical silica particles with a non-porous core and a porous outer layer. This solid-core architecture reduces diffusion paths and enables high separation efficiencies while maintaining low backpressure. By using compatible UltraCore guard cartridges, the analytical column can be protected from matrix interference without altering the selective chemistry of the main column.
