The Avantor ACE C18-300 HPLC column 100x3.0mm, 1.7µm, is a wide-pore phase with 300 Å pores and an octadecylsilyl modification (other designations: ODS, RP-18, C18) for reversed-phase chromatography of larger molecules. The Avantor ACE C18-300 facilitates access of larger or bulky analytes to the C18 surface and thereby supports reproducible retention of biomolecules. The wide pore structure is particularly relevant when proteins or peptides can only partially diffuse into the pore structure of 100 Å materials. Typical applications are proteins, peptides, angiotensin peptides, insulin analogues, trastuzumab, oligomers and high-molecular-weight pharmaceutical samples.
