The company was founded 2003 in Maryland, USA and Shanghai, China by several PhD scientist, who gained much experience in the field of chromatography. Welch Material’s HPLC brand names are Ultisil (in China promoted as Ultimate), Xtimate and Topsil, which are listed in the official United States Pharmacopeia.
