Presto
Presto FF-C18 are octadecyl-modified, silica-based (U)HPLC columns, manufactured by Imtakt™. The base material consist of non-porous, spherical silica-particles with 2 µm particle size. Compared to fully porous phases, Presto columns show less band broadening as mass transfer effects are reduced. The columns show very high efficiencies and are well suited for the analysis of large molecules, e.g. polymers, surfactants, proteins or even DNA.

Mucopolysaccharides
Determination of three Mucopolysaccharides.
1. chondroitin sulfuric acid (~ 700 kDa)
2. dermatan sulfuric acid (ca. 20 kDa)
3. heparin (5 ~ 20 kDa)
Test Conditions:
Column: Presto FF-C18, 250 x 4.6 mm
Mobile Phase A: water /triethylamine /acetic acid = 100 /1.1 /0.5
Mobile Phase B: acetonitrile
Gradient: 0-40%B (0-15min)
Detection: ELSD (spray chamber 50 deg.C, drift tube 100 deg.C)
Injection volume: 2 µL
