The Avantor ACE Generix SIL HPLC column 50x3.0mm, 1.8µm, is made of high-purity, unmodified silica for normal-phase chromatography. The Avantor ACE Generix SIL utilises polar silanol interactions and is suitable for separations where adsorption chromatography or non-polar mobile phases are required. This silica phase can be used as a robust routine alternative for established normal-phase methods. Typical applications are lipids, fat-soluble vitamins, isomers, natural products, polar functional groups in non-polar eluents and method transfer from classical silica columns.
Avantor ACE Generix is a robust HPLC series designed for routine analysis and cost-effective replacement methods. The base material is high-purity, spherical, fully porous silica with complete base deactivation, which supports reproducible peak shapes for acidic, basic, and neutral analytes. The series focuses on proven reverse-phase selectivities, making it particularly suitable for existing HPLC methods, quality control, and method transfer. Compatible Generix guard cartridges protect the silica matrix of the analytical column from matrix components and can extend the method’s lifespan.
