The Avantor ACE Generix SIL HPLC column 50x2.1mm, 1.8µm, is made of high-purity, unmodified silica for normal-phase chromatography. The Avantor ACE Generix SIL utilises polar silanol interactions and is suitable for separations where adsorption chromatography or non-polar mobile phases are required. This silica phase can be used as a robust routine alternative for established normal-phase methods. Typical applications are lipids, fat-soluble vitamins, isomers, natural products, polar functional groups in non-polar eluents and method transfer from classical silica columns.
