IC YK-G, 4.6 x 10 mm, HPLC guard column (Ion Chromatography)

The Shodex IC YK Guard Columns 10x4.6mm, 5µm, are used to protect Shodex IC YK Ion chromatography columns used. As these are prepacked guard columns, no additional holder is required.

Additional Information

The IC Series primarily consists of polymer-based ion exchangers with polyvinyl alcohol or polymethacrylate backbones, as well as YK-421, a silica-based cation exchange phase. Quaternary ammonium groups provide strong anion exchange selectivity, while carboxyl groups are used for cation separation. Particle size, exchange capacity, and surface chemistry are optimized for carbonate, hydroxide, or non-suppressed eluent systems, depending on the column.
