The Avantor ACE Equivalence C18 HPLC column 150x4.6mm, 3µm, is based on an octadecylsilyl modification (other designations: ODS, RP-18, C18) for reversed-phase chromatography. The Avantor ACE Equivalence C18 was developed as a high-quality and cost-conscious alternative to many established C18 HPLC columns. It offers a familiar C18 selectivity with good efficiency and reproducibility and is therefore particularly suitable for routine and replacement methods. Typical applications are pharmaceutical quality control, active ingredient assays, organic impurities, method transfer, food analysis and general reversed-phase methods in HPLC laboratories.
Avantor ACE Equivalence is a robust C18 series designed for routine HPLC methods and as a replacement for many established column brands. The silica backbone is designed for reproducible retention, good efficiency, and stable peak shapes. Thanks to the familiar C18 selectivity, existing methods can often be transferred with minimal development effort or operated more cost-effectively. Compatible guard cartridges protect the analytical Equivalence column from matrix carryover and can extend its service life in routine analysis.
