The ICSep AN2-HC HPLC column 200x4.6mm is a very high-capacity anion-exchange column designed for demanding IC methods. ICSep AN2-HC is particularly suitable for analysing difficult-to-detect anions, oxyhalides or perchlorate, offering additional retention and improved resolution. This phase can be used for inorganic anions, low-molecular-weight organic acids and species that are retained to a greater extent in research and method development projects. Thanks to its high capacity and solvent compatibility, ICSep AN2-HC is a robust choice for complex environmental, water and process samples where standard anion exchange columns reach their limits.

Additional Information

The ICSep series is based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers. Fully sulfonated PS/DVB materials are used for ion exclusion of organic acids and alcohols. For organic and inorganic ions, functionalized, macroporous PS/DVB resins are used, for example, with quaternary ammonium groups for anion exchange or with sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups for cation exchange. The polymer backbone makes ICSep particularly suitable for aqueous, ionic matrices; appropriate pre-columns protect the main column from particles and matrix contaminants.
