IC Sep AN1SC, Peek 250 mm x 4.6 mm

The ICSep AN1SC HPLC column 250x4.6mm is an anion-exchange phase for samples with a complex salt matrix. ICSep AN1SC is suitable for polyvalent anions and organic acids where matrix ions complicate separation. Typical applications include environmental samples, process water, saline food matrices and specialised analyses of phosphates, arsenates, sulphites and selenium compounds.

Additional Information

The ICSep series is based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers. Fully sulfonated PS/DVB materials are used for ion exclusion of organic acids and alcohols. For organic and inorganic ions, functionalized, macroporous PS/DVB resins are used, for example, with quaternary ammonium groups for anion exchange or with sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups for cation exchange. The polymer backbone makes ICSep particularly suitable for aqueous, ionic matrices; appropriate pre-columns protect the main column from particles and matrix contaminants.
