IC Sep ION-120 (Non-suppressed IC), SS 120 mm x 4.6 mm

The ICSep ION120 HPLC column 120x4.6mm is a polymer-based ion chromatography column for selected ions in aqueous matrices. ICSep ION120 is suitable for robust routine analyses where reproducible retention is required in a compact column format. Applications include water analysis, process control, food and drink samples, and general IC methods for polar ions.

Additional Information

The ICSep series is based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers. Fully sulfonated PS/DVB materials are used for ion exclusion of organic acids and alcohols. For organic and inorganic ions, functionalized, macroporous PS/DVB resins are used, for example, with quaternary ammonium groups for anion exchange or with sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups for cation exchange. The polymer backbone makes ICSep particularly suitable for aqueous, ionic matrices; appropriate pre-columns protect the main column from particles and matrix contaminants.
