IC Sep Fast AN1 Column, Peek 100 mm x 4.6 mm

The ICSep AN1 HPLC column 100x4.6mm is an anion-exchange phase based on functionalised PS/DVB. ICSep AN1 is suitable for inorganic anions and low-molecular-weight organic acids in samples with medium to high ionic strength. Typical applications include water and wastewater analysis, process control, the analysis of organic acids in salt matrices, and the separation of chromate and related anions.

Additional Information

The ICSep series is based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers. Fully sulfonated PS/DVB materials are used for ion exclusion of organic acids and alcohols. For organic and inorganic ions, functionalized, macroporous PS/DVB resins are used, for example, with quaternary ammonium groups for anion exchange or with sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups for cation exchange. The polymer backbone makes ICSep particularly suitable for aqueous, ionic matrices; appropriate pre-columns protect the main column from particles and matrix contaminants.
