IC Sep AN1HS, Peek 50 mm x 4.6 mm

The ICSep AN1HS HPLC column (50 × 4.6 mm) is a short anion-exchange column based on functionalised polystyrene-divinylbenzene for ion chromatography. It is used chromatographically in the same way as the ICSep AN1, but is designed for significantly shorter run times and is therefore suitable for simple routine assays. Thanks to its compact format, the ICSep AN1HS can be used for rapid determination of classic inorganic anions such as fluoride, chloride, nitrite, bromide, nitrate, phosphate and sulphate. Typical applications include drinking water, process water, beverages and screening methods where rapid, robust anion separation is a priority.

Additional Information

The ICSep series is based on polystyrene-divinylbenzene polymers. Fully sulfonated PS/DVB materials are used for ion exclusion of organic acids and alcohols. For organic and inorganic ions, functionalized, macroporous PS/DVB resins are used, for example, with quaternary ammonium groups for anion exchange or with sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups for cation exchange. The polymer backbone makes ICSep particularly suitable for aqueous, ionic matrices; appropriate pre-columns protect the main column from particles and matrix contaminants.
