The Avantor ACE C4-300 HPLC column 150x4.6mm, 5µm, is a wide-pore butyl phase with 300 Å pores for reversed-phase chromatography of biomolecules. The Avantor ACE C4-300 exhibits lower hydrophobicity than C8-300 or C18-300 and is suitable for proteins and peptides that should be eluted under milder reversed-phase conditions. The large pore structure improves access of larger molecules to the stationary phase. Typical applications include preparative fractionations, alpha-lactalbumin, peptide mixtures, proteins and biological therapeutics with pronounced hydrophobic sensitivity.
