The AminoSep AA-911 HPLC column (250 × 4.6 mm) is an amino acid ion-exchange column for sodium buffer systems. AminoSep AA-911 is designed for standard amino acid analyses in which hydrolysates and free amino acids are to be analysed with a high degree of reproducibility. The polymer-based phase is particularly suitable for robust routine analyses and can be used in the quality control of proteins, peptides, foodstuffs and biotechnological samples.

The AminoSep series is not based on a silica matrix, but rather on a polymeric ion-exchange resin. This polymeric material is designed for amino acid separations under highly aqueous and ionic conditions and offers high chemical robustness. Thanks to its defined ion-exchange properties, free amino acids, hydrolysate amino acids, and physiological amino acid profiles can be analyzed with stable retention times. The use of appropriate AminoSep precolumn cartridges reduces matrix carryover into the main column and helps extend column lifespan.
