Discovery® Zr-SAX HPLC Column, 3 µm particle size, L x I.D. 10 cm x 4.6 mm

The Discovery Zr-SAX HPLC column 100x4.6mm, 3µm, is a strongly anion-exchanging zirconia phase. The Discovery Zr-SAX combines ionic interactions with the robustness of the zirconia surface. The Discovery Zr-SAX is used for acidic compounds, anions, phosphorylated molecules, organic acids and methods where ionic selectivity is more important than classical RP retention.

Additional Information

The Discovery Series includes various material platforms and surface chemistries. In addition to classic silica-based reverse-phase columns, high-purity HS phases, pentafluorophenyl, RP-amide, and PEG selectivities, as well as zirconia-based phases, are available. Bio-Wide-Pore variants with larger pores are designed for peptides and proteins. This makes Discovery particularly well-suited for method development when standard C18 selectivity is insufficient or more robust surfaces are required.
