Discovery® Zr-CarbonC18 HPLC Column, 5 µm particle size, L x I.D. 15 cm x 4.6 mm

The Discovery Zr-Carbon C18 HPLC column 150x4.6mm, 5µm, combines a zirconia base with a carbon-containing C18-oriented surface. The Discovery Zr-Carbon C18 is used for reversed-phase methods where additional stability and alternative interactions are required. Applications of the Discovery Zr-Carbon C18 include difficult matrices, hydrophobic compounds, basic substances and method development.

Additional Information

The Discovery Series includes various material platforms and surface chemistries. In addition to classic silica-based reverse-phase columns, high-purity HS phases, pentafluorophenyl, RP-amide, and PEG selectivities, as well as zirconia-based phases, are available. Bio-Wide-Pore variants with larger pores are designed for peptides and proteins. This makes Discovery particularly well-suited for method development when standard C18 selectivity is insufficient or more robust surfaces are required.
