Product Description
The Supel Carbon guard cartridge 20x2.1mm, 2.7µm, are used for the column protection of Supel Carbon HPLC/UHPLC columns with an inner diameter of 2.1mm. The SupelCarbon holder 59999-U is required for the guard columns.

Additional Notes
Supel Carbon LC is not based on silica, but on porous graphitic carbon. The flat, graphitic surface can provide hydrophobic interactions, polarizable interactions, and the so-called PREG effect. As a result, even highly polar, ionic, or structurally similar molecules are often separated differently than on C18 or HILIC phases. Its high chemical and thermal stability makes Supel Carbon LC particularly attractive for demanding mobile phases and robust methods.
