Product Description
The Supelcogel Ag1 Guard Columns 50x4.6mm, 9µm, are used for column protection of Supelcogel Ag1 HPLC columns. These are factory-packed guard columns and a separate cartridge holder is therefore not required.

Additional Notes
Supelcogel columns are based on sulfonated, cross-linked polymer resins. Depending on the counterion, separation occurs via ligand exchange, ion exclusion, and size exclusion mechanisms. Calcium, lead, hydrogen, and other ion forms alter the selectivity for mono-, di-, and oligosaccharides, sugar alcohols, organic acids, and alcohols. As a result, Supelcogel is a proven platform for carbohydrate, food, beverage, and fermentation analysis.
