The Supelcosil Hisep HPLC column 250x4.6mm, 5µm, is a specialised phase with a shielded hydrophobic surface for biological samples. The Supelcosil Hisep reduces access of large proteins to the active surface and enables the separation of small molecules in protein-rich matrices. Applications of the Supelcosil Hisep are serum and plasma samples, drug monitoring, bioanalysis and samples with limited precleaning.
Supelcosil columns are based on porous, spherical silica and cover a very wide range of classic HPLC selectivities. In addition to C18, C8, cyano, amino, diol, and silica phases, base-deactivated DB variants, ionic modifications, and application-specific phases such as LC-PAH or Hisep are available. This makes Supelcosil particularly suitable for established methods, USP-compliant applications, and routine analysis where a known stationary phase needs to be reproducibly replicated.
Supelcosil is a registered trademark of the manufacturer Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.
